Raise bore piling project

Our team delivered specialised piling works to support underground stability around critical infrastructure shafts. The project required high-precision drilling and concrete filling using both reinforced and unreinforced techniques.

Scope of works included:

  • Provision of an SR30 piling rig and experienced operators.

  • Drilling 11 centre pile boreholes, each 1200mm in diameter, filled with non-reinforced concrete.

  • Drilling 24 additional boreholes around the shaft circumference to install 900mm concrete-filled piles.

  • Filling even-numbered piles with 15MPa unreinforced concrete.

  • Filling odd-numbered piles with 40MPa reinforced concrete, keyed to adjacent piles for structural integrity.

The works were delivered on time within the 30-day schedule, to high engineering standards, and with zero safety incidents—demonstrating precision, reliability and safe execution under operational constraints.
