Rapid response road rehabilitation
Following severe rainfall that caused major road failures and disrupted critical supply routes, our team delivered an emergency road rehabilitation project under a two-week construction window.
Scope of works included:
Transporting and placing 350 tonnes of road base.
Excavation and removal of damaged road base and culvert system.
Reconstruction of the road foundation to a depth of 3 metres.
Spray sealing and aggregate application in multiple layers.
Rehabilitation and maintenance over 3 km of adjacent road, including pothole repairs, shoulder reconstruction, and final line marking.
Despite the urgency and challenging conditions, the project reinstated full vehicular access within two weeks, improved surface durability, and was delivered safely with zero incidents or delays.
